Welcome to Englefield Garden Centre

Englefield Garden Centre is situated in the beautiful village of Englefield. We are very easy to find we are situated just 10 miles from Reading and just 3 miles from junction 12 of the M4.

If you are looking for a working nursery, that sells many of the plants that it sells, which has wonderful gift ideas and inspiration by the barrow load, then Englefield is for you.

We are proud of the homemade cakes and treats on sale in our Flowerpot Coffee Shop every Sunday

We are proud that its just not just our cakes and tasty treats that are homemade, we grow over 65 000 if the plants we sell every year right here on site with our dedicated team of Service Users.

We are proud that the person you buy the plant from is often the person who grew it. (And if you think about it, who could give you better advice about your new plant than the person who grew it?)

We work very hard to source everything we can locally. For example many of our shrubs are grown in Berkshire and even our fruit bushes and trees have only travelled up from the south coast.

We specialise in “Grow Your Own” selecting only the tastiest, most tender and toothsome varieties of vegetable plants to grow on and sell.

We are also proud that we have one of the best ranges of Cottage Garden Plants in the area.

That we are part of Affinity Trust a charitable organisation that provides high quality support for people with learning disabilities to live with increasing independence, gaining access to employment, recreational and social activities.
