From the moment you get out of your car, you will notice that Englefield is a little bit different, we like to think we are more Mr McGregor’s Garden Shed, crammed with everything a gardener could want, rather than a glitzy out of town store, with carpet and glitzy giftware but no soul.

We stock everything we could imagine our customers needing to care for their plants, their gardens and of course their allotments.

This means we always stock high quality compost, fertilisers to get your plants off to a good start, fungicides to cure any diseases and pesticides to kill the most troublesome pest.

We also have something in short supply – experience!

So if you are struggling with any aspect of your garden, then pop in and have a chat, our team of growers (we grow a lot of the plants we sell) are always happy to share their knowledge.

We also stock some wonderful cards and gift ideas for even the hardest to please gardener.

But you know, we could go on describing what we do all day, but the nursery needs watering, so why not just pop in, visit us and find out what a real working nursery looks and feels like.
